Great stay at Winnal. All the staff were friendly, helpful & great. All food was very tasty and great portions. My room was spacey and comfortable. I’ll be returning there again.

Lovely time spent at this hotel and had an amazing meal. Highly recommend the Curry and Crunchy prawns!! The chef Jack was also very polite and took pride in his food which was delicious. Manager was also very charming and hospitable!!

Myself and my wife stayed just overnight and we have stayed at this hotel a number of times in the last ten years . This time i believe the hotel needs a good refurb because the decor has deteriorated. Our room was clean and breakfast was ok .. staff friendly . Pay for parking your car has now been introduced. Not sue we will book here next time .

The greatest rest & dinner stop ever. And Raj is Mr 5 star and a 'one man show', he was helping a lady check in to the room, serving in the restaurant and in the most patient (and I did have some hiccups from my side) way assisted me with my on line booking. He made a booking in the restaurant for us and looked after us & all the other tables in a respectful and friendly manner. What an asset to any business. The hotel room is big and super clean, the food in the restaurant was also 5 star.

My husband and I have stayed here a few times an it’s always a comfortable stay. We like the premier plus rooms for a bit of luxury and not a lot more money. Barry at breakfast is always cheerful and accommodating.

Winchester in a built up industrial estate. Reception was great but the 'restaurant' was cold and more like a cafe with no relaxing feel. Food was ok in the evening but 'new chief ' forgot some of the items

Room comfortable. Food not the greatest, chicken was poor quality. Service slow and food items unavailable. Breakfast average.

Hotel staff friendly. Good location. Parking secure. Family room was a bit tired, bed uncomfortable. Too much noise above, had to complain but still continued. Was the worst night sleep we have ever had at a Premier Inn hotel before. Would go back but would not stay on the ground floor.

Let's start with the good stuff. I received a warm and friendly welcome from Barry on reception and my room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Three stars because of the location. If you want to see the sights in Winchester and don't drive, this is not the place to stay. It's at least a mile from the centre and there is nowhere nearby to eat or get a drink, so you are stuck with the Thyme restaurant. Probably fine if you drive, as there is hotel car parking.
