We have just come back from a wonderful 7 days at Zafiro in Can Picafort. A four-star resort about 10 minutes' walk away from the beach. I did a lot of research before coming. I have been to several resorts over my life, but this was the first time coming with my daughter, who is 9 years old. So, first of all, let me start with the location. Can Picafort is a pleasant and clean town on the east side of the island. It’s an hour away from Palma (the capital) and generally about 20–60 minutes away from the main attractions within the country. Can Picafort itself has a long beach with golden sands and exotic blue water. It was fun to swim with little fish and bask in the sunshine. Sun loungers and parasol for 3 cost €24. Public toilets are available. There is a wide range of cafes, bars, and supermarkets spanning the beachfront. I would highly recommend Club Nautico for food; check out my review on their page. One of the things I loved about Majorca is the number of small play areas that are free for kids to use. The hotel is at the top of a slight incline. For those who struggle to walk, this may be an issue depending on your mobility. However, the bulk of Can Picafort is flat. There are several supermarkets within about a 5–10 minute walk; they sell really nice pastries and everything you should need for your holiday. There is a bar on-site; however, some other popular spots are fairly local, including Trotters Bar. I didn’t get a chance to visit, but it looks great. Regarding the hotel itself: we arrived around 1 AM through a Jet2 holiday package. We were self-catering. We were greeted at a wonderful reception by friendly staff who provided us with plenty of information and directions. We found our room and crashed... looked nice! Upon waking up, we discovered we were on the second floor of block 3, about a 2-minute walk from the facilities. There are several pools of various shapes and sizes; some can be heated in the cooler months. Today, it was 24° C, and it was wonderful to sit in the sun and take a swim. The facilities for kids are excellent, with loads of slides and a giant bubble in the pool to jump in and slide down. There are clubs and entertainment throughout the day. My daughter was too cool for school, though, so I didn’t try them. The food on-site was lovely, catering to both fussy eaters and those who like to push the boat out. I am fairly fussy, but my partner enjoys tasting local cuisine. We were both pleasantly surprised. We had the buffet twice; it cost €28 for an adult and €14 for a child. This included unlimited drinks (alcoholic, non-alcoholic, coffee, and tea), and a range of foods including various fresh-cooked meats, vegetables, pastas, pizzas, rice dishes, salads, etc. Our favorite was the desserts—wow! In summary, the staff are all friendly, the site is clean, and the facilities are well maintained. There is some general wear and tear, but overall, for the price we paid, we are very happy and would definitely come

Had a lovely family holiday (kids aged 5 & 8) here in Oct '25. Staff were super friendly throughout but a special mention for those working at the Kids Club, who I thought were outstanding, and went well beyond expectations in keeping the kids safe & entertained. Overall facilities were v good, albeit room decor is dated. We were self-catering so can't comment on the food. Pools excellent for kids, but too cold for adults at this time of year! Will be happy to go back again if we get a chance

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Zafiro C'an Picafort, and honestly we could not fault it. We booked it relatively last minute through jet 2 and we were all inclusive. The range of cocktails and food available was exceptional. We loved the pool bar for lunch as this had great options and was cooked to order. We enjoyed eating in the bistro and the American Al a card restaurants too. There were so many food options available in the buffet too. The staff worked tirelessly, it was clearly the end of the season but they are still working so hard to provide for all guests. The staff are very attentive and we were never waiting too long. The facilities are fab, there are lots of pools however we used the pirate pool the most. The pools are cold but the kids didn't mind and we packed wetsuits for the kids which certainly helped! The lifeguards were so friendly and engaging with the children too. We were so pleasantly surprised by this hotel and we can't wait to return, thank you all.

Amazed to see some reviews saying staff unfriendly as they (particularly the kids club) have been one of the highlights. The holiday was for the little one and I don’t think she could have had a better time anywhere! Whilst I struggled with the food it’s down to me being fussy but there were a couple of occasion’s where it has been cold, but that’s understandable with the amount of people they cater for! Would come back tomorrow. Everything is clean, rooms are very comfortable, entertainment is varied and very good! Would definitely come back

This is an excellent hotel for families especially with young children. We went with a 2 and 9 year old. There was plenty for them to do. The food was really nice with a good selection. Drinks and cocktails were lovely with lots to try. There wasn’t too long to que for drinks anywhere. There was always space at the pool and you can’t put towels down until 10am which is great. The kids team were fab! The area is good and we had walks to the beach often. Lots of nice shops there too 10 min walk. I have already been looking to book next year it’s fantastic.

The numerous pools, each adapted to each age group, offered a perfect blend of relaxation and entertainment, always clean and perfectly maintained. Zeer goed hotel, vooral voor gezinnen met jonge kinderen. Ik raad zeker de swim up room aan, heel handig als 1 van je kindjes nog een dutje moet doen ! Enkele minpuntjes: kamer zelf wel wat verouderd en zetelbed wel aan vervanging toe. De kamer kan over het algemeen wel een upgrade gebruiken. De rest van het hotel is wel in orde en modern! Wel gladde vloeren, dus opletten! Voordelen: veel verschillende zwembaden, ook voor jonge kinderen toegankelijk, lekker en degelijk buffet: voor iedereen wat wils en zeker genoeg afwisseling. Ook mogelijkheid om te eten in 3 all la carte restaurants, leuk ter afwisseling ! Wel vooraf reserveren Zeer vriendelijk personeel, voldoende animatie voor de kinderen!

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances en famille à l’h?tel Zafiro. Chambre un peu dans son jus mais spacieuse et pratique. Le buffet est très bon et la carte des boissons est très complète pour un all inclusive. Les piscines sont vraiment chouette et à bonne température en cette fin de saison. Proximité du centre ville agréable. Seul bémol , l’insonorisation de la chambre. On entend toutes les portes qui claquent dans le couloir plus les gens qui parlent. Nous étions au rez de chaussée et nos voisins du haut n’ont pas arrêté de déplacer les chaises et de courrir ce qui était vraiment désagréable.
