The staff were very friendly and helpful particularly the concierge both when we arrived and departed. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable and the views over the water on two bright sunny mornings were very impressive. The toilet was clean and bright and the shower effective. We enjoyed both our breakfasts and the evening meal on our first evening

We had a king bedroom booked and they upgraded us to a king suite apparently which was not tidy at all, there was spiderwebs, dead flies at the window etc. Upon complaining about it, this room situation was fixed with a replacement room which we appreciate appreciated. The staff at the time was accommodating about it. In the morning when we were checking out, the person at the desk wasn’t apologetic at all when we said what our entire situation was like. Instead told us that we got a room which was more expensive than we originally booked. On the positive side, the views are great, breakfast had really good options. Pool/swimming was great.

Lovely stay, room was great and bed was comfy. Staff were so lovely. Pool was good, although could do with a clean under the pool chairs. Breakfast was great!

Beautiful hotel on the beautiful Ayrshire coast We stayed at the Marine Troon for three nights whilst touring the area. It is a beautiful hotel right on the coast with stunning views over the Isle of Arran. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The service in the restaurants was patchy however. One evening, we waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive and one drink never arrived. The following night, we had to wave down the wait staff to ask for a menu after sitting at a table for 20 minutes. It was not overly busy at these times so it suggests the staff need additional training. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again when in the area.

Lovely communal areas for bar, dinner and breakfast. Room wasn't that great. A bit tired and needed a refresh. En suite very basic. Great views from the spa hot tub.

The pool, hot tub & steam room were all great and clean. Breakfast was delicious with various options. Staff were all very helpful & welcoming. I have no complaints at all.

Absolutely gorgeous property with the most friendly staff you could imagine. The spa facilities are incredible and amazing for a relaxing spa weekend for couples.

I liked everything about the Marine. Only one criticism and that was the fact that the hotel itself does not have a direct telephone that you can ring them on. All calls for all hotels in the group go through central reservations whom I called and was put on hold for half an hour. But everything other aspect of the hotel and our stay was excellent. Will definitely stay there again without question.

One of our favorites! This is one of our favorite hotels in the world. Unparalleled views, and atmosphere. Beauty all around. We felt our room was not what we had reserved, so they gave us a choice of rooms, and we ended up in a beautiful space. Staff was very accommodating. Food is excellent.
