Warmly greeted by Sian who was very helpful throughout our 3day stay. Our room was extremely cosy and breakfast was excellent. Ideal location close to several pubs, local supermarkets, eateries and of course only 3 miles to the Elan Valley. Great base for exploring the area. Ample off road parking. Happy to return in the future.
Ideally located close to the town centre, but far enough away from the pubs, which can be noisy on the weekend. A friendly, warm welcome and nicely appointed rooms from Sian and Gwilym. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend this accommodation if you plan a trip to the to the area. Possibly the best accommodation in Rhayader.
What a fabulous 2 night stay we have just spent at The Bear Inn. We travelled from Leeds as a family of 4 to celebrate my 40th birthday with a 1yr old and 3yr old. I cannot fault anything, from arriving late evening where there was plenty of parking and check in was very straight forward and informative. Our room was really lovely (Room 6), very spacious with a sofa bed and cot so plenty of options for a family. The bathroom was really nice, a huge shower, roll top bath and double sinks. There was a coffee machine and fridge with complementary milk, KitKat's and water. The breakfasts were excellent, great choice and quality. We will definitely be recommending to friends/family and would not hesitate to return again.
