Ja, was soll man hier noch sagen. Das Oyster Box geh?rt zu den sch?nsten Hotels, in denen ich bis jetzt übernachtet habe. Das Dekor im Kolonialstil ist einfach zauberhaft und die Aussicht auf das Meer ebenfalls. Der Service l?sst absolut keine Wünsche offen und das Essen ist hervorragend. Müsste man etwas bem?ngeln, dann w?re es wohl am ehesten der Pool bzw. der Platz für die Liegen darum herum. Denn da das Hotel in den Hang gebaut ist, ist hier der Platz etwas beschr?nkt. Wir hatten eine sehr grosse Sea Facing Deluxe Suite mit eigenem Tauchbecken, und das hat uns für den kurzen Aufenthalt absolut gereicht. Ebenfalls grossartig ist das Kuchenbuffet für den Nachmittagstee, das man separat buchen muss. Ansonsten findet man zudem eine Bibliothek und zwei Bars, eine davon auf dem Dach. Auch wenn man nichts drinken will, ein Rundgang durchs Hotel lohnt sich allemal. Zu beachten gilt ausserdem, dass die vielen Paviane das Hotel auch m?gen und offenbar gut kennen, kommen sie doch bei offenen Türen aus dem Garten ins Zimmer und bedienen sich von den Früchten und Süssigkeiten. Man hat uns gesagt, dass sie selbst die Minibar eigenh?ndig ?ffnen k?nnen, wenn man nicht aufpasst. Wir haben leider nur zwei N?chte im Oyster Box verbracht. Gerne w?re ich aber l?nger geblieben und h?tte diesen aussergw?hnlichen Ort noch etwas genossen.

We recently hosted our Porsche Eyewear event for Execuspecs at The Oyster Box, and I can confidently say it was one of the most exceptional event experiences we’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was executed with absolute perfection. The staff were truly outstanding — professional, attentive, warm, and incredibly accommodating. Every detail was handled with such care and precision, and their commitment to excellence elevated our event beyond expectation. It’s rare to find a team so dedicated and passionate about what they do, and it showed in every moment. The venue itself is breathtaking. The elegance, the atmosphere, the service… everything came together seamlessly to create an unforgettable experience for both our team and our guests. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful establishment to bring our vision to life. A special mention of gratitude to the team behind the scenes — thank you for your constant support, quick communication, and for ensuring everything ran smoothly. I’m only sad I didn’t get to meet the coordinator in person after such amazing assistance! We cannot wait to return for future events, and will be recommending The Oyster Box wholeheartedly to anyone seeking a premium, world-class experience. My family were lucky enough to share the Oyster Box lunch on the Ocean Terrace. The atmosphere, food and service were all exemplary. We were lucky enough to have our waiter Calvin, save our table gifts (that I had bought) in a little bag with our table number and name on it, when we forgot them in our food coma after the meal. Callum and his team were fantastic on the day and also so thoughtful when we remembered our forgotten gifts. He found them set aside for us at the back on the 26th when we went back for them. Thank you to the whole team for helping make Christmas a wonderful and special day for our whole family.

The Oyster Box has it all- stunning location - check. Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere-check. Beautifully appointed, quiet rooms with incredible views - check. Extremely high service levels from all staff regardless of whether they are "front of house" or behind the scenes. Everyone was friendly, professional, helpful. This is not a cookie cutter hotel but one with lots of character and charm- augmented with beautiful art throughout the property. We loved swimming in the ocean side pool, treatments in the spa, eating outdoors on the terrace, and basking in all that this lovely property has to offer. The food is delicious with something for every taste and preference- my favourite was the Oysters Rockefeller in the Oyster Bar. My husband enjoyed beers & snacks in the Lighthouse Bar. For true pampering, you cannot beat the Oyster Box. Highly recommend it. Huge thank you to all the amazing people that work there for making our stay so very special.

Lovely time at Oyster Box for the High Tea experience. This was recommended to us by some locals we met on Safari and it didn't disappoint. An amazing experience of the South African version. Clearly a 5* environment as the service and attentiveness was first rate. Good variety of savoury and sweet options including sushi. Only disappointment was their catering for meat free and diary free requirements which arrived much slower than it should have. But the overall experience was top notch and they provided balloons, bubly and cake to help us celebrate our milestone.

Thank you OBH staff for creating the most memorable experiences for me during my stay. A beautiful room with a seaview and the historic lighthouse. Staff recognition: Nomcebo, Josh, Mapaseka, Mbali, Sandile, Anthony and the great barman at Lighthouse bar Mandlenkosi. Everyone else were also great but these are the few names I can remember. Keep up the great work you are a true definition of Hospitality.
