Upon my arrival at the Oysterbox it was nothing short of heavenly all the staff had a fantastic smile on their faces an the atmosphere was extremely relaxing and ever so inviting. My wife an I were on honeymoon an we were congratulated by staff at the reception which made us feel so welcome not forgetting the celebratory champagne on arrival which was superb. We were then give a tour of this grand one of a kind hotel which was mind blowing the attention to detail from the ceiling fans to the art pieces were classy and vintage which ended leading us to our room which literally blew my socks off an demanded relaxation from us we presented with a congratulations plate with a few lovely an very tasty confectionery snacks which was a delight to the palette. The most important factor that separates this hotel from many alike is that the service was the best I ever experienced in my life and I've been around to numerous big hotel groups but I must say outstanding quality from all the staff and if I must say this hotel deserves a 6th star from my side even though it was only a 1 night stay it's a feeling that will last a life time and I would give anything to visit again. Wir hatten das Hotel zum Abschluss unserer Südafrikareise gew?hlt und wurden nicht entt?uscht. Allein das Sea View Zimmer mit tollen Blick auf das Meer und den Leuchtturm sind wohl einmalig. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, da wir zu früh angereist sind und unser Zimmer noch nicht fertig war, konnten wir ohne Probleme den Poolbereich nutzen und auch Getr?nke bestellen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der High Tea. Der Service ist unaufdringlich aber sehr aufmerksam. Ausnahmslos alle Angestellte waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Bett war sehr gut. Uns konnte sogar ein Late checkout gew?hrt werden, den wir gern in Anspruch genommen haben. Das Hotel ist zurecht sehr gut bewertet unf eins der besten in Südafrika (was wirklich eine Auszeichnung ist).

This amazing hotel provides a beautiful decor and outstanding service, thanks to their amazing and friendly staff. They go above and beyond to ensure guests have a comfortable and happy stay. The food exceeded our expectations. A special thanks to these people in particular; Londeka, Richard, Sebastian, Micheal, Lester, Tracy, Nicholas, Justin, Gabriel, Fezile, Nicolene, Andizwa, Danny and all the staff who served us breakfast lunch and dinner. They were wonderful!

Absolutely amazing stay! The hotel was exceptional! Service was top class, loved all the details of the hotel! Drinks and Food was so delish! Views were amazing! Will be back!

N'étant pas revenu depuis 2016, nous avons pu constaté que presque rien n'avait changé, ce qui est une bonne chose pour cette institution. Le petit déjeuner offre toujours un des choix les plus pléthorique qui soit, le chat Skabenga vous accueille dans le lobby, le tout durban se donne rdv pour le thé ou l'apero, le son du resac de la mer vous berce dans votre chambre,... bref, la magie opère toujours. Un incontournable.
