Villa St. Maxime is my absolutely favorite place to stay in the world. This was not my first visit and it won't be my last! The location is great. It's just a few minutes walk to the village of St. Paul - with beautiful views of the walled village along the way and the Chagall mosaic on the wall of the local school. It's also a central location to all the wonderful towns along the coast - Antibes, Cannes, Nice, Monaco. The villa itself is a beautiful and beautifully designed modern building with a lovely terrace, large infinity pool and common areas. The views from the terrace and the rooms is exceptional - one way is the walled village of St. Paul and the other way looks down to the Mediterranean itself. I find the view mesmerizing and good for the soul. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and well laid out - all the comforts of home. The beds are big and comfortable. There are many nice touches - lots of pillows, a luggage stand, small magnifying mirrors in the bathroom, good WiFi, TV. Breakfast is so much better than the continental breakfasts often found in Europe. I loved the omelets! I would highly recommend a stay the Villa St. Maxime!
