Visited the Berkley Guesthouse on Armed Forces Weekend. My stay was First Class with Collette and Malcom being the perfect hosts. The Food and rooms were excellent and I would thoroughly recommend this Guesthouse to anyone visiting the Morcambe area.

From the time of arrival to departure Mal and Colette really looked after us .room was clean and spacious. Lovely sea view.walk down the prom to town centre.also bus just up the road if needed.easy access to local amenities. Defo going again

This is a first rate guest house. It provides excellent value for money. It is modern and comfortabl. There is great attention to detail. The proprietor gives a warm, efficient welcome. It is conveniently located, with a regular bus service from nearby bus stops a couple of minutes walk away, but is within walking distance of the station.

Check carefully if your room is on the 6th floor, rooms on the 6th floor do not have elevator access, you have to carry all of your luggage to your room by the stairs. The rooms on the 6th floor also have a very low ceiling as shown in the picture. The water in the room was also heated very slowly. The receptionist promised us that they will swap our room with another one two days later when we checked in, saying that the room on the 6th floor was the only room they had, yet when we asked for that two days later, another receptionist said the hotel was fully booked and they could not offer us a change before we check out. I asked if there would be rooms available after people had checked out, and she said no. However, at night on the same day, when we asked a young male receptionist the same thing again, at first he said the hotel was fully booked but after a while he was kind enough to give us a room to change after listening to our problems in the room. The service attitude of the receptionist definitely needs to be improved except for the young male receptionist. Not a pleasant stay overall

Very comfy. Love the terrace with amazing view. Tho the Collins room is somewhat mediocre, the hotel itself is nice enough.

Un séjour mémorable dans ce guest house fabuleux, les h?tes sont attentifs à leurs invités comme à leur batiment. Ils sont très chaleureux, débordent de suggestion d'explorations dans la région. Un verre dans le "salon" devant le soleil couchant dans la mer d'Irlande, le petit déjeuner anglais traditionnel, frais et copieux. Lancaster est à 15 mn en voiture, Morecombe est une petite ville pleine de surprises.

The hotel room was different from the photos we saw on Trip.com, except the bathroom. The room filled with air of men's sweaty smelly nose, I barely slept at night as I'm quite sensitive to scent. I would recommend Trip.com to have a field trip to verify if the hotel looks exactly the same as the photos provided. Reception was good, he could find my booking just with my name. Location is convenient, very close to Montparnasse train station.
